The Don Bosco Oratory (DBO), Panjim youth organized an excursion to the lush waterfalls of Don Bosco Farm, Sulcorna on September 10, 2021.
A day set aside to familiarise the youth group members with each other, as most of them were new, set the tone with a meaningful eucharistic celebration by Father Ronald Vaz atop the Marian Pilgrim Hill next to the miraculous statue of Mary Help of Christians.
Father Vaz in his homily highlighted the four dimensions of a Don Bosco setting namely, a home, a school, playground and a church which now has to become the characteristic nature of the oratory youth group.
Post-lunch, it was time to head to the waterfalls! After a long trek through the verdant forest - accompanied by the pitter-patter of raindrops - the youngsters reached the base of the waterfall and spent the entire afternoon in the water.
It was a fun-filled day of excitement and making new friends said DB Oratory In Charge, Brother James Marcus. DB Sulcorna Administrator, Father Sredney and Rector, Father Anisio Mota also accompanied the youth group.
