Panjim, Goa | 26 September 2026: Don Bosco Oratory, in association with Football Yard, successfully hosted the Rising Stars Cup 2026, bringing together young footballers across the U8, U10, U12 and U16 categories for an evening of competitive football and player development.

The tournament saw over 120 kids featured in fast-paced matches, enthusiastic support from parents and a vibrant football atmosphere at the Don Bosco ground. The event focused on giving young players an opportunity to compete, gain experience, build confidence and enjoy the game wherein the U8 played 3v3, U10 played 4v4, U12 played 5v5 and the U16 played 9v9 formats.

The tournament concluded with a presentation ceremony presided by Br. James Marcus where the winners were presented with medals and rolling trophies, celebrating their performances and participation. The Winners for U8 were Mini Strikers, U10 were Golden Warriors, U12 were Thunderbolts and the U16 were Phoenix.

As a token of appreciation Don Bosco Oratory-Football Yard presented mementos to Coach Keegan Bast, Coach Rishab Naik, Coach Ian D’Souza for their dedicated years of service in developing children as Rising Stars of the future.

Football Yard and Don Bosco Oratory continue to work towards creating meaningful grassroots football opportunities that place player development, competition and long-term pathways at the centre of youth football.
